INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Google search elements of a good persuasive paper and summarize in two pages typed, double spaced.
  2. Choose from the persuasive topics below. Write a paper based on the elements of a good persuasive paper that you researched. E-mail drafts to the staff member that you are working with. See the staff page on this website if you don't know his/her e-mail address. Papers should be 3-4 pages typed, double spaced, 12 point font, 1 inch margins.
  3. Will need to complete 4 persuasive papers for 2.5 credits

Content- 30 pts There is one clear, well-focused topic. Main idea stands out and is supported by detailed information. 28- 30 pts Main idea is clear but the supporting information is general. 23- 27 pts Main idea is somewhat clear but there is a need for more supporting information. 16- 22 pts The main idea is not clear.
