    Responsible for all special education documentation, student profiles, and tracking and documenting student progress. Able to develop, w ith the IEP team, a plan w hich is comprehensive and integrated reflecting the needs of the student. Demonstrate strong communication skills w hen w orking w ith parents, teachers, related service providers and administration. Experience w orking w ith Spanish speaking students and delivering special education services in the general education classroom. Able to w rite, develop and implement curriculum and instruction based on individual needs in a variety of content areas. Able to inspire students to overcome perceived academic limitations and pursue college educational opportunities. Teaching is required. MA degree and Colorado Licensure is required. Bilingual is preferred.

    Anticipated start date June 16, 2008. School is in session year round with approximately 13 paid weeks of vacation. Salary range $30,000 to $36,000. Fringe benefits include: health, dental, LTD, 125 pre-tax, life insurance and PERA retirement.

    Math/Science Teacher

    Responsible for teaching all areas of mathematics from basic through higher level content as w ell as physics. Able to w rite, develop and implement curriculum and instruction based on individual needs. Ability and enthusiasm in w orking w ith at risk youth and diverse student populations. Commitment to positively impacting student achievement. Able to effectively manage the learning environment. BA/BS degree is required. Teaching all levels of mathematics and physics is required. Ability to teach a variety of science classes is preferred.

    Interventionist

    Responsible for student crisis prevention, assessment and management. All interventions are non-therapeutic with a focus on redirecting students toward academics. Responsible for working with other interventionist and teachers on planning, implementation and facilitation of our Life Skills Program. Responsible for developing community collaborations/partnership to provide resources for the students. Teaching is also required. BA/BS degree is required. Previous experience is preferred.

    Part-Time Clerical

    Responsible for support of the Registrar's Office. Required skills include knowledge and experience with MS Office and online software, effective and efficient organizational skills, effective communication skills, ability to prioritize and multi-task, ability to appropriately handle sensitive information and exercise discretion. High school diploma or equivalent required.

    School is in session year round. Salary commensurate with experience and education.

    Direct Instruction Tutor

    Tutors work closely with teachers and students in a classroom setting. Tutors provide in-class direct instruction to individuals or small groups. Tutors will teach direct instruction in reading, reading comprehension, spelling and mathematics. They coordinate with teachers in assignment completion and classroom instruction and communicate regularly with classroom teachers and others about students' progress, and assignments. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, school staff is preferred.

    *Bilingual Spanish/English a plus;
    *Minimum of a High School diploma, or equivalent; college degree and/or SRA direct instruction experience preferred

    Salary Range : $12.00 - $16.00 per hour depending on qualifications.
