STUDENT SUCCESS STORY

One student was deternined to drop out of high school on her 16th birthday. She hardly attended school and wasn't passing any classes. Her boyfriend convinced her to attend Boulder Prep. Her transcript went from all F's to mostly A's. She became a leader in the community and an outstanding young woman. She is currently enrolled at the Leeds School of Business at CU Boulder.

    OUR COMMUNITY:

Boulder Prep is easier to experience than to describe. We encourage you to set up an appointment to visit our school and perhaps schedule an interview as well. Please contact Lili Adeli at 720-480-3959 or LiliAdeli@BoulderPrep.org.

As a charter school, Boulder Prep is a school of choice which means that a student chooses to attend Boulder Prep rather than continue to be enrolled in a “home” high school. The word “choice” carries a great deal of meaning. During the interview process the student has an opportunity to discuss how the choice to attend Prep carries both rewards and opportunities when fully engaged. We also, however, discuss the responsibilities and the consequences that follow when students chooses not to follow through with their commitment to education, community and themselves.

    DISCIPLINE, EXPULSIONS, SUSPENSIONS:
Boulder Prep has a waiver allowing us to enroll students who have been suspended or expelled, so students can continue their pursuit of education. We also accept students who are experiencing disciplinary difficulties in their current schools. Our unique charter allows us to be more creative than traditional high schools with research-based strategies aimed at reducing and eliminating undesired behavior while keeping students IN school.
